The Automotive industry is another major vertical, requiring QMS to manage compliance with standards like IATF 16949 and to support quality methodologies like APQP and FMEA. The Aerospace and Defense sector has its own stringent standards (AS9100) focused on safety and supply chain traceability. Other key verticals include General Manufacturing, where QMS is used to reduce defects and improve efficiency; Food & Beverage, with its focus on food safety and traceability; and increasingly, high-tech and electronics. Each vertical presents a unique set of challenges, leading vendors to develop specialized, industry-specific templates and configurations.
